ABOUT ANITA ROSS

Facilitator, Business Owner, Consultant, Life Coach

Anita Ross is on a mission to empower millions of women to love themselves fully and to equip them with the tools for making choices that serve their highest good. Anita's life path has taken her through unique experiences that have allowed her to discover her purpose early in life. She knows firsthand the struggles that women face with low self-esteem, gender discrimination, body image pressures and domestic violence.

She teaches women the breakthrough principles and practices that she used to rescue herself from the quicksand of low self esteem and victim mentality to skyrocket herself to the mountaintop of total self acceptance and unconditional love. Her background as an engineer in Corporate America, an entrepreneur, the founder of a not-for-profit organization and a Life Coach all add to the rich experience she brings to her workshops, retreats and clients.

Since 2006, Anita has been serving women from all walks of life including, but not limited to, those of Women Escaping a Violent Environment (WEAVE, Inc.), My Sister’s House, La Casa De Las Madres, Stockton County Foster Education Program, San Mateo Human Services Agency, San Joaquin Delta College, Solano College Umoja Program Scholars, Consumes River College, Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., Susan G. In 2016, Anita founded the grassroots organization, Women For Equality, that informs, inspires and empowers people to stand up for love and equality. She leads this growing organization in mobilizing through rallies, marches, protests, phone banking, events, joining forces or whatever is necessary, to ultimately achieve a world that works for everyone. Through her work with Women For Equality she leads a leadership team comprised of dedicated volunteers and together they have organized key events such as the Women Stand Up For Equality rally, the Women Stand Up For the Soul of America rally and the Racial Healing in America conference.

Anita earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Stony Brook University in New York. She also holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan at Dearborn. From 2002 to 2006, Anita embarked upon her entrepreneurial career and co-founded a consulting firm called StockTheMind, LLC. The firm serviced small and mid-sized businesses, supporting them with creating systems for growth and efficiency. It was during this period that she realized how significant it would be to apply her unique business skill set and her life’s experiences to her hearts passion of empowering women and teen girls.
